“Rude Boy” is a hot tempered pickup. It is slightly dry in harmonics, which makes it an incredible set for both studio recordings and live settings. With a quick thumping response this set is highly recommended for Rock’n’Roll.

What stands above all when it come to this model is its “Chutzpah”! This Telecater pickup is naughty, bold, fast responsive and it will spit you right in the face if given the chance!

The inspiration for this pickup came to us from the old pickups of the Fender Nocaster and Esquier where these characteristics certainly stands out. We modernized it, with beautiful clarity and stability (especially when comparing to the old models that are more than 60 years old) this pickup is most definitely still the rude boy in the neighbourhood.

    Choose Flat for guitars with fretboard radius of 9.5" or above. Choose Staggered for guitars with fretboard radius 7.25". Contact us for Left-Handed staggered option.

    Choose "0" for original setting, "+5%" for higher output, warmer and darker tone, "-5%" for lower output, brighter and crispier tone.

    RW/RP preduces a hum-canceling effect in a combination of two pickups, but reduces mid-range frequencies.

    Cotton string that’s wrapped around the bridge pickup.

    Wax Potting is done to prevent microphonic feedback. Unpotted pickup may produce feedback but have vintage like qualities and a brighter tone.
