“Mika” is an instrument with phenomenal resonant characteristics that stretches the EQ range limits. High resonance lies within solid materials, and energy vibrates through every part of the instrument. But the transition of vibrations from one piece of wood to another is usually accompanied by a loss of energy, which is why we chose to create a guitar carved out of a single piece of wood.

The Instrument Body:

One Piece Korina Guitar (Body and Neck) in a Flat Sawn Cut. The reason for choosing these materials and building method was the fact that our customer (Ido Brian Rivlin) is a studio producer and he needed a versatile, deep and wide guitar that will serve him in diverse musical situations.

Korina Wood:

Resembles Mahagoni but gives a brighter and balanced edge to the instrument, it’s also a lot more common type of wood so it’s a better choice from an environmental point of view.
